Bobcat Men’s Cross Country Keeps Top-10 Rank in Region

NEW ORLEANS – With a strong runner-up finish this week at the Bobcat Invitational, the Georgia College Men's Cross Country team has kept a top-10 rank in the region, according to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Region Rankings released Tuesday.

The Bobcats are fourth among the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools on the list, a group led by No. 3-ranked Augusta University, with UNC Pembroke coming in fourth and Columbus State University a single slot ahead of the Bobcats. The University of Mount Olive from the Conference Carolinas maintains the top slot in the region.

Bobcat Men's Cross Country has appeared on each of the five polls during the regular season.

The Bobcats are due up next when they travel to Columbus, Georgia for the PBC Championships Saturday, Oct. 21.
