Bobcat Men’s Cross Country Retains Top-10 Ranking in Southeast Region

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the Week 4 Regional Team Rankings Tuesday. Georgia College Men's Cross Country hung on to their top-10 ranking by claiming the No. 10 slot in the Southeast Region.

The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) was well represented, with four teams gaining top-10 rankings. Georgia College was fourth amongst PBC teams, behind ninth-ranked Columbus State University, fourth-ranked UNC Pembroke, and third-ranked Augusta University. The University of Mount Olive of the Conference Carolinas (CC) remained No. 1 in the Southeast Region.

The Georgia College Men's Cross Country team is back in action as they host the Bobcat Invitational this Friday, Sept. 6.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup and the 2017 PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
