Bobcat Men’s Cross Country Ranked #9 in Southeast Region

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the Week 3 Regional Team Rankings on Tuesday, with Georgia College Men's Cross Country staying within the top ten, claiming the number nine slot in the Southeast Region.

The Bobcats placed fourth in last week's Bulldog Stampede hosted by Winthrop University. 

Among the other Peach Belt Conference (PBC) teams, the Bobcats remain fourth behind third-ranked Augusta, fourth-ranked UNC Pembroke and eighth-ranked Columbus State. The University of Mount Olive of the Conference Carolinas (CC) maintained their top ranking.

The Georgia College Men's Cross Country team is back in action as they host the Bobcat Invitational on Friday, Oct. 6. 

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup and the 2017 PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
