MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Sophomore Trevor Turner (Snellville, Ga.) of the Georgia College men’s cross country team was named the Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 6. This marks Turner’s first honor this season, but the third for the men’s cross country team.
Turner paced the Bobcats to a team title at the Bridgestone-Pacer Invitational in Aiken, S.C. this week. He also took home the individual title, posting a time of 27:42 and leading the team for the first time this season.
The Bobcats will be back in action Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Captain Chris Invitational hosted by Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va.
