AUGUSTA, Ga. – Junior Philip Laskey (Marietta, Ga.) of the Georgia College cross country team was named to the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) 2012 Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Team, the league announced Wednesday.
Laskey has been the top finisher for the Bobcat men’s cross country team for every race in the 2012 season, finishing in the top-25 overall in all but one race. Laskey, a mathematics major, currently holds 3.77 cumulative GPA.
Fellow junior Tucker Forbes (Lilburn, Ga.) was an Honorable Mention for the team, with a 3.46 cumulative GPA in his major, Pre-Athletic Training.
The Bobcats will next be competing Saturday, Nov. 3 when they travel to Charlotte, N.C. to compete in the NCAA Southeast Regional Race.
