MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 96 Georgia College student-athletes making the list. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2012-13 academic year.

MILLEDGEVILE, Ga. - Former Georgia College men's cross-country runner Tyler Mattix (Snellville, Ga.) brought home an award from the Georgia Academy of Science Annual Conference. Mattix, along with fellow Bobcat senior Loribeth Berry, won best oral presentation in the earth science category.
NEW ORLEANS – The Georgia College men’s cross country team has been named a 2012 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II All-Academic Team. In addition to the honor for the team, Junior Philip Laskey (Marietta, Ga.) and freshman Paul McNeil (Dunwoody, Ga.) were both named USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic Honorees List.

MINNEAPOLIS -Georgia College men's cross country made their second long-distance trek for a race Saturday, Sept 29, this time to the University of Minnesota hosted Roy Griak Invitational. The Division II men' race was on an 8K course and consisted of 430 runners from 36 different schools, the Bobcats taking 33rd place.
NEW ORLEANS – The first Southeast Region ranks for the 2012 season from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) were released Tuesday featuring both sides of the cross country program for Georgia College. Neither program was ranked in the preseason polls, but both jumped into the top-10 for the first in-season rankings.
