Georgia College Athletics Puts 80 on PBC Presidential Honor Roll
AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 80 Georgia College student-athletes making the list. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2011-12 academic year.

Mattix Garners First All-Region Honor for GC, Breaks School Record as Bobcats Take 14th at Regionals
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Powered by the first All-Southeast honor in school history and a school recordbook reshuffling, the Georgia College men’s cross country team took 14th Saturday at the 2011 NCAA Southeast Regional Championship, hosted by Queens University. Senior standout Tyler Mattix (Snellville, Ga.) took All-Region for the first time in GC history, and set the school’s record time in the process.
