Bobcat Men’s Cross Country Ranked #10 in Latest USTFCCCA Region Poll

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their second regional ranking for the NCAA Division II 2011 season on Tuesday.
The Georgia College Bobcats sit at No. 10 in the Southeast Region Poll, the same slot they held in week one. The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) put three teams in the top-10 this week. PBC foes UNC Pembroke and Columbus State University are placed at No. 4 and No. 8, respectively.
The Conference Carolinas is dominating the Southeast Region, holding four spots including the top-three. Queens University (N.C.) takes the top spot, King College sits at two and Mount Olive College rounds off the top-three.
The Bobcat men compete again Oct. 8 at Augusta State University.
