MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Coming off an impressive fourth-place finish this past weekend at the RunFit Invitational in Macon, Ga., the Georgia College men’s cross country team finds themselves No. 10 in the most recent USTFCCCA Division II Southeast Region Poll released Tuesday.

Senior Tyler Mattix (Snellville, Ga.) led the way for the Bobcats, taking 12th place after covering the 8K course in 26:38.

Fellow classmates Daniel Horseman (Cohutta, Ga.) and Colin Conroy (Dacula, Ga.) also ran solid races, placing 15th and 20th, respectively for GC.

Georgia College is one of three Peach Belt Conference (PBC) teams ranked in this week’s poll, sitting six spots behind No. 4 UNC Pembroke and three spots behind No. 7 Columbus State University.

The Bobcats will look to move up the rankings as they head to Boston to compete in the Cod Fish Bowl Sept. 24.
