Georgia College Men’s Tennis Takes Spot In ITA National Ranks

TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its latest round of National Rankings Wednesday, with Georgia College Men's Tennis (8-6, 3-1 PBC) positioned No. 41. The Bobcats have appeared in the ITA National Rankings two straight weeks.

Georgia College has two singles players appearing in the national ranks as well, with senior Pedro Ecenarro (Santiago de Compostella, Spain) at No. 29 and Enzo Kohn (Rio de Janiero, Brazil) at No. 57. Both players are 9-3 this season.

The Bobcats are one of eight Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools in the list, which has undergone significant change this season, utilizing a computer formula to choose the top-50 teams in the country. Lander University is No. 2, followed by No. 6 Flagler College, No. 15 USC Aiken, No. 21 Francis Marion University and No. 22 Young Harris College. Following the Bobcats is No. 50 University of North Georgia.

The Bobcats are back in action Friday, March 30 at 1 p.m., playing host to No. 21 Francis Marion.
