    Bobcat Athletics Puts School-Record 130 on PBC Presidential Honor Roll MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 130 Georgia College student-athletes making the list, a school record. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2013-14 academic year.

The Bobcats came out of the doubles round down 3-0, but took two singles matches before falling 5-2.

The matchup pits the same two teams from the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Quarterfinals from April 17, where the Bobcats defeated the Jaguars 5-0.

The Bobcats finished 3-0 at doubles and then took the first two wins at singles with the rest of the slate going unfinished.

Two Bobcat players from Germany also cracked the national rankings, one at singles and doubles, and another at doubles only.

The Bobcats faced their toughest competition to date in an Argonaut team that has more players nationally-ranked (five) than any other school, and that recently knocked off No. 1 Barry University.

Waern was the only Georgia College men’s tennis player to go undefeated in two back-to-back road matches for the No. 11 Bobcats.

Blackman Center. It was the second road PBC match for the Bobcats in as many days.
