MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Georgia College men’s tennis will welcome Lander University and Young Harris College to the Centennial Center Tennis Facility for the 2012 Georgia College Fall Championships Sept. 14-15.
The two-day tournament will feature round-robin singles and doubles play. Singles play will start Friday at 1:30 p.m. with doubles to follow. Saturday play will begin at 9 a.m. with more singles and doubles play. The fall tournament will give the Bobcats a look at two key members of the Peach Belt Conference who will both be on the spring schedule for the Bobcats.
The senior Bobcats have already had their first action of the year, competing in the Southern Intercollegiate Tournament Sept. in Athens, Ga. but freshmen Kenneth Cazort (Macon,Ga.), Alex Nolley (Cumming, Ga.) and Taylor Powell (Augusta, Ga.) will all take the court as Bobcats for the first time Sept. 14.
