#17 Men's Tennis Falters Against #7 Lander, 5-1
GREENWOOD, S.C. – The No. 17 Georgia College men's tennis team (17-4, 7-3 PBC) finished off the regular season Sunday afternoon as they traveled to take on No. 7 Lander University (13-1, 9-0 PBC), a 5-1 Bobcat loss.
Andersson was matched against Iwdal in the No. 6 spot and dropped the three-set match 2-6, 6-3, 6-2. Ainalides lost against No. 26 Verpeaux 6-3, 7-6 and Jonsson got the final point for the Bearcats, defeating Schubert 6-4, 0-6, 6-2.
The Bobcats will return to action Friday, April 12 when they compete in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament.
