GC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Each Seeded Fifth Heading into PBC Tourney

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Georgia College men’s and women’s tennis teams have each been seeded fifth heading into the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament this weekend, as announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.
The Bobcat men (10-7, 4-5 PBC) will have a first-round matchup with four-seed Francis Marion University (10-5, 6-3 PBC) Friday, April 20 at 5 p.m.
The ‘Cats dropped their regular season match with the Patriots by a score of 6-3 in Florence, S.C.
The Georgia College women (12-9, 7-5 PBC) will take on Flagler College (9-8, 8-4 PBC) in their opening-round match beginning at 1 p.m. Friday.
GC fell to Flagler 6-3 in their regular season match back on Feb. 25 in Milledgeville, Ga.
Both the Bobcat men and women head into the PBC Tournament extremely hot, running off three-straight conference wins each to end the season.
