Leborgne Named Georgia College Athlete of the Week

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Junior Jerome Leborgne (Coordimanche, France) of the Georgia College men’s tennis team was named the school’s Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 26, the sports information office announced Tuesday.
Leborgne beat the No. 10 and No. 19 players in the country to advance to the semifinals of the round of 64 in the ITA Southeast Regional Championships hosted by Francis Marion University. The junior then fell to Armstrong Atlantic State University’s Eudaldo Bonet, the former No. 1 player in the country.
With the conclusion of the ITA Southeast Regionals that ended the fall season for the men’s tennis team.
