MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) released the men’s tennis All-Conference teams and sophomore Jerome Leborgne (Coordimanche, France) of the No. 14 Georgia College & State University men’s team (15-6) earned a spot.
Leborgne was named to the All-PBC second team. The sophomore went 10-7 this season in the first singles position for the Bobcats, winning six out of his last 10 completed matches. Leborgne tallied a straight set win over No. 16 Frank Suarez of Columbus State University, and took three other nationally-ranked players to three sets in losses.
The league’s head coaches made the selections for the All-Peach Belt teams. Armstrong Atlantic State University continued its trend of cleaning house with four players among the two singles teams and landing a pair on both the doubles teams. AASU also took home player of the year, freshman of the year and coach of the year honors.
