2009 Men’s Preseason All-Conference Team Announced

AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) released its annual Preseason All-Conference team today (Jan. 30) voted on by the league's Sports Information Directors.

Six players made the squad which again included two Armstrong Atlantic State University netters along with one member from Georgia College & State University, Lander University, Francis Marion University and USC Aiken.

2008 PBC Player of the Year, Erick Siqueira (Sao Paulo , Brazil), looks to keep his title as he bounces on the court for his senior season. Siqueria recorded a 17-2 mark at the No. 1 singles spot for the Bobcats.

Tim Johannsen and teammate Paul Bishop from Armstrong Atlantic both made the unit. Lander's Damien Cordesse, Francis Marion's Oshada Wijemanne and Bruno Seves from USC Aiken all made the team.

The Bobcats first match will be against PBC rival, Georgia Southwestern Sunday, Feb. 1 in Americus, Ga.
