KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) released its 2017-18 NABC Honors Court for academic achievement, with Georgia College Men's Basketball rising senior Isaac Thomas (Trion, Georgia) earning a spot on the list.
To qualify for the list, the student-athlete must have junior or senior academic standing, and a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The accounting major adds this to a list of academic accolades for the 2017-18 season, including Google Cloud Academic All-District honors, just the second GC Men's Basketball student-athlete to bring in that award.
Isaac Thomas is the second Bobcat to bring in this honor as well, joining Royal Thomas (2014) from the 2012-13 list.
