MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College men's basketball program and head coach Terry Sellers announced the signing of Dwight Anderson Tuesday.
"We are really excited that Dwight decided to join our program," said Sellers. "Dwight is a very talented offensive player who can play both guard positions. We targeted him early in the recruiting process and feel like he will be an impact player from day one."
Anderson, a 6-foot-2 combo guard, comes to Georgia College from Gillette College in Gillette, Wyo. The Minneapolis, Minn. native was an All-NJCAA Region 9 Third Team selection this past season, posting 16.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. He shot 46 percent from the floor, 41 percent from the three-point line and 86 percent from the foul line. Anderson graduated from Washburn High in Minneapolis.
