Bobcat Athletics Puts School-Record 130 on PBC Presidential Honor Roll
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 130 Georgia College student-athletes making the list, a school record. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2013-14 academic year.

Blumenthal Tops 19-Year-Old GC Shooting Record
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Sophomore guard Ryan Blumenthal (Kennesaw, Ga.) made good on 90.5 percent of his free-throws this season, beating a 19-year-old Georgia College men’s basketball record.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College men’s basketball team (9-16, 5-13 PBC) saw a second-half lead slowly fade away, eventually falling to Lander University (17-10, 11-7 PBC) 74-69 in overtime Wednesday at the Centennial Center.

GREENWOOD, S.C. – When the Georgia College men’s basketball team (5-4) was down 19 points early in the second half Sunday, it looked like the first meeting between the Bobcats and the College of Coastal Georgia (7-8) was sure to be a loss. Men’s Hoops Honored in Inaugural Team Academic Excellence Awards
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Georgia College men’s basketball team under head coach Terry Sellers was one of 96 teams to earn the inaugural National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Awards for last season (2012-13) the association announced. Created by the NABC Committee on Academics, these awards recognize outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Building a strong lead early, the Columbus State University Cougars held off a late rush by Georgia College Bobcats, winning the inaugural “Battle for the Pickle Barrel” rivalry competition between the two athletic departments.

Georgia College Athletics Puts 96 on PBC Presidential Honor Roll
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 96 Georgia College student-athletes making the list. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2012-13 academic year.
