MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Senior forward Scott Ferguson (Roswell, Ga.) of the Georgia College men’s basketball team (3-3, 0-1 PBC) was named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Dec. 9. This marks the second straight award-winning week for Ferguson.
Ferguson tallied a double-double in the loss at Anderson University Saturday, the lone game this week for Georgia College. The senior forward put up 19 points and 11 rebounds, both game-highs.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, Dec. 15 at 3:30 p.m., hosting Francis Marion University. The contest will serve as a fundraiser for the Creekside Elementary School PTA, as tickets purchased through PTA members will give a $3 donation back to the school.
