MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Senior guard Nate Hamilton (Snellville, Ga.) of the Georgia College men’s basketball team (1-1) was named the Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 11.
Hamilton knocked down eight threes en route to a 28-point performance to start the season in the win over Palm Beach Atlantic University Saturday. The senior had spent last season away from basketball and shook off the rust in a hurry. He recorded a less super-human six points in the loss to the University of West Florida Sunday.
The Bobcats are back in action Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m., traveling to Clark-Atlanta University for more non-conference action.
