GC Men’s Basketball to Host Meet The Bobcats Night Tuesday

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The fourth installation of “The Prowl” will hit the airwaves Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 5-to-6 p.m. on ESPN 1450AM. This month will feature the Georgia College men’s basketball team, broadcast live from Zaxby’s on North Columbia Street as part of the monthly “Meet the Bobcats Night".

The night will feature interviews with men’s basketball head coach Terry Sellers, key players and much more.

Director of Athletics Wendell Staton and GC Athletics Hall of Fame Broadcaster Scott MacLeod will be on hand to talk all things Bobcat sports.

Members of the men’s basketball team will be available from 5-to-7 p.m. to sign basketball schedules and meet young Bobcat fans. Ten percent of sales during the event will be donated to the men’s basketball program.

The Bobcats start the season this weekend at the McDonald Fleming Moorhead Tip-Off Classic, hosted by the University of West Florida. GC faces Palm Beach Atlantic Saturday and the host squad Sunday, both coming at 5 p.m. eastern.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
