MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College men's basketball team (3-1) won its home opener for the seventh-straight season Wednesday night, taking down Clark Atlanta University (0-4) 61-53 at the Centennial Center.

The Bobcats got a balanced effort, with three scorers in double figures and 10 of the 11 players that saw action also reaching the scoring column. Sophomore forward David Wagner (Dallas, Ga.) tallied a game-high 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting.

Senior forward Scott Ferguson (Roswell, Ga.) narrowly missed a double-double with 11 points and eight boards, while junior guard Royal Thomas (LaGrange, Ga.) posted career-bests in both points (10) and rebounds (6) while not missing a shot at 5-of-5 in field goals.
