Bobcat Basketball Earns Fourth in Preseason PBC Poll

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Bobcats took fourth in the Preseason Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll released Wednesday by the Peach Belt Conference.  

USC Aiken, recently ranked No. 11 by the Division II Bulletin, locked in first place with 10 out of 12 first place votes. August State University, who has made an Elite Eight appearance for the past three years, took second. Just ahead of Georgia College, Clayton State University finished third.  

The Bobcats are looking for another successful season under head coach, Terry Sellers. Last year, the Bobcats finished first in the PBC West Division and ended the season with an overall record of 22-6.

Bobcat basketball starts their season off with an exhibition game Thursday, Nov. 4 at Mercer University. The Bobcat’s season opener is on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. against Carver Bible College.
