>>>full poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - On the strength of an early 4-0 record, the Georgia College & State University men's basketball team and head coach Terry Sellers have cracked the national rankings for the first time this season, taking No. 21 in the most recent National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC)/Division II Coaches Poll.

The Bobcats have had a great early run, beating Newberry College, the University of West Georgia, Carson-Newman College and most recently then-No. 19 Tusculum College.

Georgia College is tops among the four newcomers to the top-25 this week. The ‘Cats also rank second among the two Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools listed, coming behind defending PBC champ and No. 5 Augusta State University.

Led in the scoring column by senior guard Graham Martin (Marietta, Ga.) at 17.5 per contest, the Bobcats are a truly balanced squad, as three different student-athletes have led the team in scoring in the first four games.

Georgia College is back in action Thursday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m., hosting Carver Bible College at the Centennial Center. It will be "Staff Appreciation Night" as all GCSU staff members and immediate family will get in for free.
