Martin Holds GCSU Athlete of the Week

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Senior guard Graham Martin (Marietta, Ga.) of the Georgia College & State University men's basketball team (4-0) was named GCSU Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 29 by the university's sports information office. This marks the second consecutive honor for Martin this season.
Martin provided the spark to keep the Bobcats undefeated this season in the Dick Campbell Memorial Classic against host Carson-Newman College and Tusculum College. Martin scored 13 points, grabbed six rebounds and added a couple of steals against Carson-Newman. In Saturday's blowout win over Tusculum, he hit a season-high of 23 points, three rebounds and four assists. Averaging 18 points and 4.5 rebounds in the tournament, Martin has consistently scored in double digits for each of Georgia College's four games.
The Bobcats are back in action Thursday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at home against Carver Bible College.
