SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- As part of the NCAA Division II Championship Weekend, Georgia College & State University senior guard Shaun Keaton (Albany, Ga.) was chosen to the fourth annual National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II All-Star Game.
March 27, on the main court at the Basketball Hall of Fame, Keaton played for the West Team aiding them to a 138-117 win. He tallied 10 points on 4-of-10 shooting, including 2-for-7 from behind the three-point line. The 6-foot-2 guard grabbed five offensive rebounds with six total, tallying three assists and two steals in his 15 minutes.
In its fourth season, the NABC Division II All-Star Game recognizes the top players not on teams competing in the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament. Keaton is the second Bobcat chosen to the team, as Jeremy Mayweather played on the 2006 squad.
