ATLANTA, Ga. – Rising junior Drew Duffie (Evans) finished five strokes off the lead at the 2018 Yamaha Atlanta Open June 6, taking fifth place.
Duffie, entering his second season with the Bobcats, carded rounds of 70 and 74 for even at the par-72 Cherokee Town & Country Club North Course. He took fifth in the 156-golfer field that featured both professionals and amateurs.
Duffie was third among the amateurs in the field, including champion Spencer Ball of Division I Mercer University, who finished five-under.
Bobcat rising sophomore Daniel Davis (Columbus) also competed in the tournament, finishing 14th at two-over.
