MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – After Flagler College announced the cancellation of the Jay Jennison Cup originally set for Sept. 18-19, Georgia College Golf has replaced that tournament with one on the same dates, the Griffin Invitational hosted by Saint Leo University.

The Bobcats will do battle in their first tournament of the 2017-18 season after the first two were cancelled due to Hurricane Irma. Senior Thomas Hodges (Monroe) is the lone returning starter from last season's NCAA Tournament qualifiers, but the All-Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Second Team selection has the new look Bobcats ready to go.

GC Golf hasn't played a tournament at Saint Leo since the South/Southeastern Preview in the 2015-16 season. The Griffin Invitational will be held at the Streamsong Resort in Bowling Green, Florida.
