WESTMINSTER, Co. — Former Georgia College Golf great Bryan Fox (2011-14) shot a blistering 62 at the Colorado Open Qualifying #4 at Legacy Golf Course Monday, qualifying the Bobcat alum for the 2017 CoBank Colorado Open July 20-23.
Fox posted nine birdies on the round, including all three par-5s. His nine-under 62 tied with former Division II All-American and University of Central Oklahoma alum Eric Kline atop the leaderboard.
A 2014 All-Peach Belt Conference (PBC) First Team pick, Fox plays next in the 53rd Colorado Open, to be held at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club in Denver, Colorado.
