MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. – The Georgia College Golf squad returns to the NCAA South/Southeast SuperRegional running May 8-10 at the Shoals Golf Club in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

The Bobcats return to the regional after a one-year hiatus, and will take on their toughest field of the season. The South/Southeast SuperRegional features each of the top-eight teams in the country and 19 of the top-25 in the most recent GolfStat Head-to-Head Rankings.

Georgia College stands at No. 28 in the nation, taking advantage of a late-season surge. The Bobcats took fourth at the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Championship, following a third-place finish at the Lander Bearcat Classic and seventh at the Bobcat Invitational.

The Bobcats will send out their familiar five, sure to be one of the most experienced squads at the SuperRegional with four seniors and a junior. Junior Thomas Hodges (Monroe, Georgia) leads the team in stroke average at 74.3, earning a spot on the All-PBC Second Team this season. Senior Conner Albright (Macon, Georgia) is second on the team with a 74.4 average, with classmate Harrison Stewart (Roswell, Georgia) coming in at 74.8. Stewart has three top-20 finishes, including eighth at the McDonough Cup.

Senior Harry Lambert (Suwanee, Georgia) has a 75.2 stroke average with three-straight top-20 finishes. Senior Thomas Knight (Eastman, Georgia) has two straight top-20 finishes and a 75.7 average.

The Bobcats will look to improve upon their 2015 finish at the SuperRegional, taking 19th place. The last top-10 finish for Georgia College was 2013, taking ninth.

The top seven teams at the SuperRegional and the top two student-athletes not with a team will advance to the finals May 22-26, at Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, Florida.

The Bobcats take to the course Monday, May 8 teamed with golfers from Rollins College and Flagler College. Knight will lead the team to the course from hole No. 10 at 7:30 a.m.
