CALLAWAY GARDENS, Ga. – With round one of the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Championship barely underway rain picked up, washing out the remainder of Friday's action. The No. 16 Georgia College golf squad will now have to wait until tomorrow to battle for the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Tournament officials have ruled just one round tomorrow, so the marathon turns into a sprint for Georgia College. The teams will tee off at 8:30 a.m., a shotgun start.
This season marks the second single-round PBC Championship in conference history, the first since 1997.
