MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The No. 16 Georgia College golf squad seeks to improve their sixth spot performance at last year's Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament, as they prepare to head to Callaway Gardens, Ga. April 18-19.

The PBC Tournament this year will be a challenging one as always for the Bobcats, with five PBC teams ranked in the top-25 in the Golfstat Relative Rankings. USC Aiken leads Peach Belt teams at No. 3, followed by Armstrong Atlantic State University at No. 8, Columbus State University No. 10, Flagler College No. 14 and the Bobcats at No. 16.

The Bobcats have won a total of two Peach Belt Championships in the past; the first coming in 2000 with a total score of 608 after two rounds, and the second in 2010 with a score of 881 after three.

The Bobcats will send five players to the tournament: Seniors Bryan Fox (Roswell, Ga.) with a team-best stroke average of 72.4 and Victor Monte (Chantilly, Va.) at 74.4, sophomore David Sullivan (Woodstock, Ga.) at 76.6, and freshmen Nicolas Falkinhoff (Buenos Aires, Argentina) 75.8 and Conner Albright (Macon, Ga.) at 75.3.

Fox led the team last year, finishing in fifth place out of the 55 golfers with a three-over par 219. He remained consistent throughout the three rounds, shooting a 73 to match his first pair. Monte finished at No. 22 after posting a 75 during the final round.

Action begins with two rounds Friday, the third and final round coming Saturday. Live scoring will be available here: http://www.golfstatresults.com/public/indexh.cfm?tournament_id=5307 .
