MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College golf program and head coach Jimmy Wilson have taken a spot in the top-25 rankings for the 2013-14 Preseason Coaches' Poll, released Wednesday. The Bobcats rank No. 16 in the GolfWorld/Nike Golf Division II Coaches Poll.
The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) has four teams ranked in the top-25 of the Golf World Poll, led by No. 6 USC Aiken, followed by No. 7 Columbus State University and No. 20 Armstrong Atlantic State University. Taking top honors in the Nike Golf Coaches' Poll is Barry, earning nine of the available fourteen first-place votes.
The Bobcats take to the course Monday, Sept. 9 at the Spring Hill Suites Intercollegiate in Florence, S.C.
