Bobcat Athletics Puts School-Record 130 on PBC Presidential Honor Roll
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 130 Georgia College student-athletes making the list, a school record. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2013-14 academic year.

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 16 Georgia College golf team concluded its 17th-consecutive Regionals in a tie for 16th with Rollins College. The Bobcats shot a third-day team-score 310 for a three-day 911 total at the 2014 NCAA South/Southeast Regionals at Savannah Quarters Country Club on the 7,016-yard par-72 course.

Fox Shoots Field-Best 67 as GC Golf Concludes Second Day of Regionals 14th
SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 16 Georgia College golf team finished day two with a 301 team score in the South/Southeast Regionals at Savannah Quarters Country Club on the 7,016-yard par-72 course. Senior Bryan Fox (Roswell, Ga.) shot a five-under par second day field-best 67 to lead the Bobcats to 14th after two rounds.

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 16 Georgia College golf team began its 17th-consecutive Regionals in a three-way tie for 12th after day one of the three-day 2014 NCAA South/Southeast Regionals at Savannah Quarters Country Club on the 7,016-yard par-72 course. The Bobcats have a 12-over-par 300 team score with the No. 13 University of North Alabama and No. 20 Florida Southern College.

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Georgia College’s golf team will vie for one of seven spots to the Nationals Monday through Wednesday May 5-7 at the Savannah Quarters Country Club Golf Course in Pooler, Ga. The Bobcats are hoping to capitalize on their momentum having finished first and second in their last two outings, respectively.

GC Golf Selected to NCAA Regional Tournament for 17th-Consecutive Year
SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Georgia College’s golf team has been selected to the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf South/Southeast Regionals as a Southeast selection. Ten Southeast Region and 10 South Region teams will compete May 5-7 at the Savannah Quarters Country Club Golf Course in Pooler, Ga., with seven teams from both the Southeast and South regions gaining berths to the Nationals. Six of the 10-selected southeast teams are from the Peach Belt Conference (PBC).

Patience Prevails as #16 GC Golf is Runner-Up in PBC Tournament
PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The No. 16 Georgia College golf team finished second with a plus-five 293 score in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament Championship at the par-72, 7057 yard Callaway Gardens-Mountain View Golf Course hosted by Columbus State University Saturday. Freshman Nicolas Falkinhoff (Buenos Aires, Argentina) finished in a third-place tie overall and was named to the PBC All-Tournament Team.

Senior Bryan Fox (Roswell, Ga.), senior Victor Monte (Chantilly, Va.) and junior Ryan Trocchio (Norcross, Ga.) were selected, Fox making the first team and the latter two making the second.

Bobcats Improve in Newest Golf World Coaches' Poll and GolfStat Relative Rankings
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College men’s golf team reaffirmed its position as one of Division II’s top programs in the nation today, earning the No. 17 and No. 16 spots in both the GolfStat Relative Rankings and the Golf World/Nike Golf Division II College Coaches’ Poll respectively. In both metrics, the Bobcats have shown significant progress, moving up from No. 20 in previous reports.

#20 GC Golf Wins Bearcat Classic as Fox and Falkinhoff Finish in Top-Four
GREENWOOD, S.C. – The No. 20 Georgia College golf team won the 2014 Bearcat Invitational Golf Classic by eight strokes with an 873-team three-round total Sunday at the Patriot at Grand Harbor Golf Course. Senior Bryan Fox (Roswell, Ga.) finished tied-second overall and freshman Nicolas Falkinhoff (Buenos Aires, Argentina) finished fourth overall with a 212 and 214, respectively.

GC Golf Atop Field at Bearcat Invitational After Two Rounds
GREENWOOD, S.C. – The No. 20 Georgia College golf team shot a first-day 682 team score on its way to the lead with one round to play in the Bearcat Invitational Golf Classic hosted by Lander University. The Bobcats shot 295 after the first round and 288 after the second in the 17-team field at the 7,133 yard, par-72 Patriot at Grand Harbor Golf Course Saturday.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Senior Bryan Fox (Roswell, Ga.) of the No. 23 Georgia College golf team has been named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for his outstanding performance in the First Federal Southeastern Collegiate last week. Fox currently leads the golf team, and is ranked sixth in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) overall for his 72.5 stroke average.

EATONTON, Ga. – Led by an eighth-place effort from Victor Monte (Chantilly, Va.) the No. 23 Georgia College golf squad is 13th after day one of action at the GC-hosted Bobcat Intercollegiate. The Bobcats battled sub-50 degree rainy weather to shoot a 35-over round of 315 Monday on the par-70, 6,847-yard Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee course.

VALDOSTA, Ga. – The No. 20 Georgia College golf team shot a three-day 885 team score and finished eighth in concluding the 2014 First Federal Southeastern Collegiate Tuesday at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. Senior Bryan Fox (Roswell, Ga.) finished second overall with a five-under par 211 total, while the Bobcats were just four strokes shy of finishing in the top-five as a team.

POOLER, Ga. – The No. 28 Georgia College golf squad saved its best round for last, firing a 292 for round three of the Pirate Invitational Tuesday, hosted by Armstrong Atlantic State University. The round gave the team a 46-over score for the three rounds, placing the Bobcats eighth among the 17-team field.

The Bobcats currently sit in a three-way tie for 10th after two rounds with a 22-over par 598 with the final round set for tomorrow.
