Bobcat Golf Holds Spots Among Nation’s Best
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College golf team held spots in the final national rankings of the fall, positioned No. 11 in the GolfWorld/Nike Golf Division II Coaches Poll, while taking No. 14 in the GolfStat Division II Head-to-Head Rankings.
The Bobcats had a solid fall, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the Raines Development Group Intercollegiate Sept. 10-11.
Georgia College is third among four Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools in the coaches poll, behind No. 3 USC Aiken and No. 9 Columbus State University. Nova Southeastern University owns the top slot.
In the GolfStat Rankings, the Bobcats are behind the same two schools, as USC Aiken takes the third slot again, with CSU in at No. 7.
The Bobcats hit the links after winter break, battling Feb. 11-12 at the Matlock Invitational in Lakeland, Fla.
