NORMAN, Okla. – The Division II Ping All-America Teams were announced recently with one Georgia College & State University golfers making Third Team and one Honorable Mention. Also, three Bobcats were named to the All-Southeast Region Team.

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – For the first time, Georgia College & State University has won the coveted Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Commissioner’s Cup, recognizing it as the overall top athletic program in the conference. GCSU edged out Armstrong Atlantic State University for the honor.

BLAINE, Wash. – Putting up a 301 today (May 21) the No. 2 Georgia College & State University golf team remains in the top five at fifth at the NCAA Division II National Championship. The Bobcats were plus-17 today and now stand at plus-39 for three rounds on the par 71, 6,995-yard Loomis Trail Golf Club course.

BLAINE, Wash. – Halfway through play at the Division II National Championship, the No. 2 Georgia College & State University golf team sits fifth, just seven strokes off the lead with two rounds to go. The Bobcats cut an amazing 12 strokes off yesterday’s effort with today’s (May 20) 289, five-over on the par-71, 6995-yard Loomis Trail Golf Club course.

Columbus State, GCSU’s Lima Lead Bobcat Invite After Two Rounds
EATONTON, Ga.- Columbus State University fired a two-under second round to slide past host Georgia College & State University for the team lead after two rounds of the Bobcat Invitational today (March 23) at Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee. CSU shot a 278 combined with a first-round 286 for an overall 564, pacing the field by eight strokes.

EATONTON, Ga. – Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee will once again serve as the backdrop for this year’s Bobcat Invitational, as the No. 8 Georgia College & State University golf team will host the annual 18-team three-round tournament from March 23-24.
