Bobcat Cheerleaders Take PBC Championship

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) held its annual spirit competitions Saturday morning, crowning champions in the areas of cheerleading, dance and pep band. Georgia College cheerleading and head coach Jimmy Redus took on all comers, taking the 2012 PBC title.

The Bobcats dethroned long-time champ and host Columbus State University, who took runner-up, while Lander University placed third.

The Georgia College Pep Band, and the GC Dance Team, the Sassy Cats also gave outstanding performances, unfortunately falling short of the medalist stands.
