Bobcat Cheerleading Takes Third at Nationals
DAYTONA, Fla. – The Georgia College cheerleading team recently took third place at the 2012 National Cheerleading Association (NCA) Collegiate National Championship, competing in the Small Co-Ed II Division.
The Bobcats posted a 9.200 in the first round, and finished with a 9.000 in round two, behind Hawaii Pacific University (9.535) and Valdosta State University (9.435). GC beat both Blinn College and Bentley University.
The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 10 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
