MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College baseball team (32-12, 18-8 PBC) moved up the ladder this last week in the national polls from all four organizations.

College Baseball Lineup (CBL) moved the Bobcats from last week's ranking of No. 27 to No. 24 this week. Another Peach Belt Conference team to look at is the Columbus State Cougars. Last week, CBL ranked the Cougars at No. 13 and bumped them up a spot to No. 12 this week.

D2BaseballNews.com ranks the Bobcats as No. 21 to raise them from No. 24 from last week. Columbus State has fallen a few slots from last week's poll, dropping it from No. 13 to No. 17.

The Collegiate Baseball Newspaper polls the Bobcats at No. 24, a shift from last week's No. 27 ranking. The paper keeps Columbus State at a stationary No. 10 for the second week in a row.

The Bobcats have a full weekend of play starting with a doubleheader Saturday, May 3 against the University of North Georgia, and play the Nighthawks again on Sunday to wrap up the season with Senior Day.
