MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College baseball team stays in the top-30 for rankings among all four national organizations.
College Baseball Lineup (CBL) ranks the Bobcats at No. 21 of 30, while Lander University remains at the No. 2 spot. Another Peach Belt Conference team, Columbus State University, worked its way from No. 21 in the previous week to No. 13 in this week's poll.
According to D2BaseballNews.com, the Bobcats have moved into the mid-20s. With the strong start the Bobcats had to this season, even their recent losses have let them remain in the top 30 across the nation. With only three PBC teams above the Bobcats, the baseball team ranks No. 24 from the previous No. 19. USC Aiken takes the No. 21 spot not far above Georgia College while Lander continues to keep the No. 2 spot. Columbus Sate makes a huge jump from No. 21 to the 13 position.
In the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll, the Bobcats have shifted from last week's ranking of No. 23 to No. 27 this week. While they have dropped a few spots, they remain one of only four PBC teams to grace the top-30. USC Aiken ranks at No. 21, Columbus State at No. 10 and Lander University dominating the No. 2 spot.
