AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Baseball Preseason All-PBC Team Thursday, with No. 32 Georgia College putting two on the squad.

Senior shortstop Daniel Bick (Alpharetta, Ga.) and sophomore outfielder Jake Sandlin (Evans, Ga.) brought in two of the spots on the 11-member team.

Bick was an All-Southeast Region honoree at shortstop a year ago, taking All-PBC First Team as well. Bick hit .363 and was second in the PBC with 72 runs scored, adding three home runs and 17 steals.

Sandlin earned All-PBC Second Team honors in his first year of action as a Bobcat, hitting .311 with nine home runs and 45 RBI, including a memorable grand slam as part of a six-RBI game in the PBC Tournament.

Georgia College put third baseman Jeremy Donaldson on this preseason team a year ago.

The Bobcats kick off the 2014 campaign at home against King College Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. in doubleheader action at John Kurtz Field.
