MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Join Georgia College head baseball coach Tom Carty, recruiting coordinator Zeke Mitchem, staff and players Saturday, Dec. 7 at the One Day Prospect Camp. The camp is an opportunity for instruction and evaluation for potential college baseball players.
Held at John Kurtz Field at West Campus, this instructional and evaluative-based clinic will guide players ages 15 to high school seniors on proper techniques for hitting, outfield play, infield play, catching and pitching. All players should bring their playing equipment, including pants.
Each player will receive a Camp T-shirt and at the conclusion of each session, Carty and his staff will hold an informative Q&A session that will discuss NCAA rules and regulations, with regards to the recruiting process.
Each session will be limited to the first 40 registered players – with one session at $80 per player and both sessions at $130 per player. Beginning at 9 a.m., the morning session is for pitchers and catchers while the afternoon session, starting at 1 p.m., is for infielders and outfielders. Those who play dual positions can sign up for both sessions at $130.
