GC Hosts Third Annual Halloween on the Hill Event

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – In a night filled with ghosts, goblins and ghouls, members of the Georgia College baseball, softball and cross country teams entertained the Milledgeville youth Tuesday night with the Third Annual Halloween on the Hill at John Kurtz Field.

The youngsters showed up to take part in various games, face painting and activities, all while getting a chance to meet some of their favorite Bobcat student-athletes. “Mark the Magic Man” wowed and entertained the crowd with a fun set of illusions and more.

Following that, everyone headed over to the diamond to check out a brief in-costume baseball game with members of the GC baseball team.

The children, dressed in their Halloween attire, then had the opportunity to come down on the field, judge the costume contest and run the bases. “The Nerd” won top costume honors among the players, as voted on by the fans.

Student Health Services was on hand to remind the youngsters of healthy snack options, and the benefits of staying active.

For the third consecutive year, Halloween on the Hill proved to be a huge success within the community, bringing its fair share of children and smiles to John Kurtz Field.
