GC Baseball to Host “Meet the Bobcats Night” Tomorrow at Zaxby’s

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The next installation of “The Prowl” will hit the airwaves Tuesday, Feb. 5 from 5-to-6 p.m. on ESPN 1450AM. Fresh off a sweep to start the season 3-0, this month will feature the Georgia College baseball team, broadcast live from Zaxby’s on North Columbia Street as part of the monthly “Meet the Bobcats Night".

The night will feature interviews with baseball head coach Tom Carty, senior pitcher Matt LaMothe, newcomer Mikee Moore, and much more.

Director of Athletics Wendell Staton and GC Athletics Hall of Fame Broadcaster Scott MacLeod will be on hand to talk all things Bobcat sports.

Members of the baseball team will be available from 5-to-7 p.m. to sign schedules and meet young Bobcat fans. Ten percent of sales during the event will be donated to the baseball program.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
