COLUMBUS, Ga. – Junior shortstop Daniel Bick (Alpharetta, Ga.) of the No. 25 Georgia College baseball team (36-18) was chosen to the Daktronics All-Southeast Region Second Team, the organization announced this week.
It marks the first all-region honor for Bick, who was named All-Peach Belt Conference (PBC) First Team this year as well. He is hitting .360 with three home runs and 41 RBI this season, having started every contest. He ranks second in the PBC in runs (72) and sixth in stolen bases (17).
Since its inception in 2007, the Bobcats have put 15 players on the two-team recognition program's list. Designated hitter Cody Maas (Alpharetta, Ga.) earned a first-team nod in 2012.
