DAHLONEGA, Ga. – With forecasted rain set for the North Georgia area later this weekend, the final regular-season action for Georgia College baseball was pushed up a day. The series at the University of North Georgia, originally set for Saturday-Sunday, will start with a game tonight at 7 p.m. followed by a doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Bobcats enter action 29-16 with a 16-11 Peach Belt Conference (PBC) record, good for seventh in the league. Georgia College has clinched a PBC playoff spot, as the top-eight teams make the postseason. The Bobcats now have seeding on the line, positioned just two games behind second place in the loss column.
