MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Junior shortstop Daniel Bick (Alpharetta, Ga.) of the Georgia College baseball team (29-16, 16-11 PBC) was chosen Bobcat Athlete of the Week for his efforts during the week ending April 28.
Bick was 7-for-14 (.500) on the three-game week, helping the Bobcats take a series from the University of Montevallo. The junior shortstop drove in six runs and scored five more, ripping three doubles among his seven hits. His best game came Saturday in the series-deciding matchup, going 4-for-5 with three runs and three RBI, tagging a pair of doubles. Bick ranks second in the PBC in runs (61), seventh in stolen bases with 16 and 15th in hits at 67.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, May 4 at 1 p.m. traveling to the University of North Georgia.
