MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – On a frigid day at John Kurtz Field, the Georgia College baseball team's (6-3) bats were hot, outscoring Clark Atlanta University (3-4) 13-1 and 15-2 in doubleheader action Saturday. The Bobcats plated a total of 28 runs on 23 hits over the two games.
Junior outfielder Taylor Hinshaw (Winder, Ga.) drove in a combined 10 runs over the two games, finishing 5-for-7 total.

Sandlin was 2-for-3 with a run, and Hinshaw 2-for-2 with five RBI and a run, posting two doubles. Catcher Steve Hazel (Kentwood, Mich.) drove in three with just one hit, a double.
Righty Justin Blue (Mulberry, Fla.) got the win (2-1) going six innings, scattering five singles and a walk while fanning nine. The Panther pitchers walked 13 on the game.
In game two, Hinshaw added a 3-for-5 effort, driving in five more with a double and a triple. The only other multi-hit performer was shortstop Daniel Bick (Alpharetta, Ga.) going 3-for-3 with three runs and two RBI. The Bobcats put up multi-run innings in each of the first four frames.
Lefty John Clark (Duluth, Ga.) got his first start of the season, going five innings of shutout ball, fanning eight for the win (1-0). Panther pitchers walked 12 more in game two.
